Tim is a second-generation Alaskan construction worker with over 45 years of experience in the construction and environmental industry. Tim brings over 22 years of executive management experience to the Ahtna leadership team. He has focused his career in the field of federal government contracting and has spent the last 22 years leading large scale and logistically challenging construction projects.
Known for his ambitious and innovative character, Tim has helped to define Ahtna as an industry leader for construction and environmental services.

Ms. Brand is a highly experienced manager with 17 years of contracts, financial, cost control, compliance, and business management experience specializing in 8(a)-certified business operations and strategy. She currently serves as the Director of Business for all of ADH’s subsidiaries. In this role, she oversees all financial activities and ensures the business is in a healthy fiscal position for years to come through forecasting and margin analysis, budget management, and oversight of accounting and financial operations. Ms. Brand earned both an MBA and a BS in Accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Since joining Ahtna in 2015, Karen with 30 years of contract administration experience, manages all procurement activities for our ADH’s subsidiaries’ with more than 300 active construction, environmental, technology, and professional service projects. This includes management of more than 500 subcontractors (and thousands of vendors), for all of our corporate and field office locations. Karen has advanced knowledge of FARs, and DFARs as well as local and state contract laws to keep us compliant. She’s a master at managing contracts and projects including all pre- and post-award contracting, and team coordination with all affected activities to keep projects moving and profitable.

Kevin is Ahtna Diversified Holding’s Director of Special Projects based in Anchorage, where he participates in strategic planning and oversees the operational needs of the company. Prior to his current role, Kevin served as Corporate Counsel for the parent company, Ahtna, Inc. Kevin has an extensive background in corporate compliance matters, issues related to federal procurement, mergers and acquisitions, SBA compliance and joint venture partnerships. Kevin is a former trial lawyer and spent six years as an Assistant District Attorney for the state of Alaska. Prior to becoming an attorney, Kevin managed large retail sales operations for Lithia Motors, a Fortune 500 company and the third-largest automotive dealer in the United States, with over $20 billion in revenue and 21,000 employees.

Pat Harris is a licensed geologist with a wide spectrum of technical, management and business development accomplishments. With more than 30 years of experience, Pat is skilled in uniting diverse agendas to a common goal and managing strategic and operational drivers to deliver consistent revenue growth. Pat has developed and managed programs in the construction, engineering, environmental, and geospatial markets. He earned a BS degree in Geology and MBA in Business Administration from the University of Alabama.

Doug Henry has more than 35 years of industry experience focused on highly technical (design/build and deployment), training/simulation, services, construction, and infrastructure programs primarily in the Government market. As Ahtna’s VP of International and Special Programs and US Marine Corps veteran, Doug leverages his significant experience in successful international business dealings with Government, military and commercial customers/vendors in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Over his career, he has built cradle to grave programs and captured business contracts exceeding $1 billion dollars.

Shay has over 20 years of relevant experience and a proven record of successfully delivering innovative and transformative projects for public and private organizations. Shay leads international technology teams to develop solutions focusing on environmental technologies and energy innovation. Shay has a deep knowledge of and broad experience in collecting water asset data, including surface characteristics and habitat mapping and managing projects utilizing multibeam sonar scanning and bathymetric LiDAR sensors.
A long-time resident of Orange County, California, Shay enjoys longstanding membership in the Surfrider Association and the Nature Conservancy. Shay serves in a leadership position with Women in Technology and SheLeadsTech, as well as providing fundraising support and mentorship through the National Partnership for Women and Families.

Ron has successfully managed construction programs at Ahtna since 2014 and has 19 years of project management, construction, and estimating experience for a wide array of both horizontal and vertical construction projects. Ron has supervised a multitude of large and small projects with annual budgets of up to $500 million and is especially skilled with the execution of projects located in remote locations requiring complex logistic coordination.

Kelly is a well-versed business manager based out of the Pleasant Hill, CA office. She has more than 12 years of experience in finance and business management, contract administration, acquisition management, and project controls for both federal and private contracts. Kelly has more than 10 years of project management experience for federal/DoD and commercial environmental contracts and is currently responsible for direct overall business operations for multiple projects totaling over a million dollars.

Greg joined Ahtna in 2018, bringing 21 years of professional business management and project execution experience throughout Alaska. Greg manages all Alaska business operations and oversees the development of environmental studies and remediation, construction, and a variety of professional services projects. He earned his M.S. in Geologic Engineering from South Dakota’s School of Mines and Technology and his B.S. in Geology from the University of Montana in Missoula.

With a bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and 24 years of experience, Dave has a solid background in understanding client operations, needs, planning, and project execution. His professional strengths are opportunity identification and capture, client relationship building, teaming partner engagement, proposal and presentation preparation, and service line expansion.

Chuck is a Structural Design graduate from the Healds Institute of Engineering and brings more than 40 years of experience in environmental engineering and construction, including 25 years of experience working for the DoD and DOE. Chuck has more than doubled the growth of the Southwest Environmental Operations (SWE) group in the past five years.
Known for his good-humored nature and hard-working attitude, Chuck consistently builds strong teaming relationships with clients and regulators and has received multiple letters of recognition for outstanding work.

Bernie is a licensed engineering geologist and hydrogeologist based out of the Renton, WA office. He has more than 25 years of experience in federal IDIQ/MATOC construction, professional services, and environmental contracts. His construction experience includes civil construction, building renovation/construction (including tenant improvements), and design/build projects. Bernie truly shines when coordinating complex project teams composed of engineers, architects, scientists, planners, and construction superintendents, on multi-million dollar and multi-year projects.
With his affable nature, Bernie has built strong working relationships with his clients and regularly receives commendations and letters of recommendation for the work his team performs.
